How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Support the negotiation and contracting of major investment projects related to automated systems in warehouse facilities
- Collaborate with legal departments to support the drafting and negotiation of contracts, including the preparation of specific components such as appendices
- Prepare for commercial negotiations, observe strategies to secure the best possible outcomes for ALDI
- Analyse vendor proposals to evaluate potential opportunities
- Create comprehensive reports for top management, providing insights and supporting data to guide strategic decisions
- Manage stakeholder relationships by coordinating and collaborating with internal and external partners, ensuring alignment of requirements and clarity of communication
- Prepare and document business reviews, gathering information from stakeholders to facilitate productive discussions
- Contribute to the creation and documentation of global framework agreements, ensuring adherence to ALDI’s standards
- Review and prepare tendering documents, establishing standards that enhance clarity and accuracy in procurement processes
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- An university degree or comparable qualification with a technical or business focus
- Interest in the automation industry, ideally in material handling, machinery, industrial goods, or procurement of warehouse technology
- First experiences in commercial contract clauses (liability, warranty, risk mitigation)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts
- Highly motivated to take initiative and see projects through to successful completion
- Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%) and fluent English proficiency

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
