Director - Customer Interaction Strategy (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- At ALDI SÜD's International Customer Interaction unit, you design seamless and engaging customer experiences across digital, in-store, and service touchpoints
- As a Director for Business Strategy, Marketing & Communication you lead and manage a team of strategy professionals, marketing and communication specialists incl. supervising employees, resolving impediments and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- You’ll maintain a clear roadmap by organising and prioritising deliverables, while effectively managing workloads to align with business needs and team capacity
- In your role you will represent the business strategy in decision-making processes, and maintain communication on requirements, progress and risks
- Within the function you’ll monitor performance through key indicators, drive process optimisation, manage the budget, and evaluate results for continuous improvement
- You’ll develop the business vision, strategy, goals and operating model for ICI in line with ALDI’s strategy by striving for simplicity, efficiency and cost awareness while maximizing value through omnichannel solutions
- In addition, you will measure and steer the strategy implementation using OKRs and ensure its documentation remains relevant and accurate
- You’ll be responsible for conducting thorough market and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities and potential threats
- Working in ICI you will engage closely with key stakeholders across all functions of the organisation to collect feedback as well as communicate strategic plans and ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives (e.g., nextALDI)
- In addition, you will have a close collaboration in particular with product lines and IPO Strategy to ensure the strategy is effectively implemented
- You’ll facilitate decision-making by preparing strategic international committees and regularly updating ICIC, GSO, IMC, TPC etc.
- As a Director for Business Strategy, Marketing & Communication you will orchestrate training and upskilling across functions to enable country organisations master tools, processes, and cost efficiency (accountability for training remains within product lines)
- You’ll be responsible for overseeing Brands & Campaigns, the Creative Hub and external communication
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As a Director for Business Strategy, Marketing & Communication you have a bachelor’s and/ or master’s degree in business administration or other relevant fields
- You have more than 7 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
- You have more than 3 years of experience with e-commerce, digital services or customer engagement propositions
- As a leader, you are able to manage teams as well as projects and bring at least 3 years of experience in a leading position
- You are experienced in developing and implementing international business strategies for large corporations
- In addition, you have a strong business acumen and entrepreneurial skills with the ability to make informed decisions in complex environments
- You have exceptional methodical competencies including structuring and planning, analytical and conceptual thinking, applying frameworks and facilitation
- As a Director for Business Strategy, Marketing & Communication you have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- You strive for simplicity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while delivering value through omnichannel solutions
- You’re fluent in the English language

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 152.200*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
