Financial Reporting Expert - Controlling (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are
- Independently analyse monthly and yearly financial statements and produce detailed financial reports specifically tailored for Advisory Board Meetings
- Conduct analyses of financial KPIs and operational metrics to provide transparency on performance, linking these to the Group’s relevant steering KPIs
- You will create presentations and briefing documents for various international executive meetings, facilitating clear communication of ALDI’s financial performance at Group level across management hierarchies
- Collaborate with the Shareholders' Office to ensure alignment and provide critical financial insights during board level discussions
- You will prepare and analyse data for ad-hoc requests from diverse stakeholders to support senior management in making informed decisions
- Utilise storytelling techniques to translate complex data into clear narratives engaging insights for senior management
- You will independently analyse market and competitor developments to identify emerging trends and provide timely insights
Your profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You possess several years of working experience in Finance, Controlling, or Investor Relations within an international corporate organisation.
- You have completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Your work experience in the (grocery) retail industry is a plus.
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables) and MS PowerPoint (Think-Cell).
- You bring specialized qualifications or working experience in SAP FI/CO and SAP BW.
- You have strong analytical skills, with a passion for identifying the drivers behind numbers and combining quantitative data with qualitative information.
- You have a desire to work in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating within and across varying teams.
- You are business-fluent in English

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
