Procurement Specialist - Payments (f/m/d)

How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You drive the planning, implementation, and optimisation of international purchasing in the field of Money Management covering card, wallet and cash payments
  • You are responsible for purchasing activities, including preparation, and follow-up of contract negotiations as well as obtaining prices and reviewing offers
  • Your responsibilities include conducting proactive research in the purchasing area
  • As part of your job, you prepare and edit contracts and presentation documents
  • You analyse and document existing business processes, help to design new ones and execute organisational and administrative procurement tasks
  • In addition, you develop strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive procurement goals within the international business
  • Your involvement in strategic projects for the department complements your field of responsibility 

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have proven professional experience in a payment related field or the financial industry
  • You possess, as a minimum, a degree level qualification in a relevant area such as Economics, Business, IT or Financial Services
  • Ideally you have experience of working in the field of consumer payments particularly within retail and/or international companies
  • You are enthusiastic about consulting and negotiating with international suppliers, service providers, and all ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide
  • MS Office and SAP are among your competencies, ideally you also have experience with tender software
  • Your English language skills are excellent, additional German language skills would be advantageous
  • An independent, conscientious, flexible, and organised way of working is a matter of course for you
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative environment by utilising your strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • You possess the ability to present and lead key concepts to different stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300* 
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
