How You´ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Continually evolving and operationalising the Global Business Services (GBS) strategy in line with ALDIs global strategic priorities
- Defining strategic GBS goals, translating them into tactical actions and oversee their implementation
- Designing and implementing a service management capability within GBS that ensures consistent, structured and effective ways of working across the department
- Acting as the primary interface between GBS and ALDI DX (IIT) to identify overarching innovation and tech initiatives that support the goals of GBS
- Leading and developing a small team and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Driving value creation through the further development of the GBS service portfolio, evaluating potential initiatives and opportunities and producing board level recommendations for their implementation
- Supporting internal stakeholders with in-depth performance analysis, providing actionable insights for decision-making
- Developing and producing global non-financial KPI reports and analytics to enable data-driven decisions
- Harmonising project deliverables and documentation to support process consistency and knowledge sharing
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end service excellence
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- Relevant degree in business administration, business psychology, communications, HR, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in strategic and organisational development or consulting, shared services/GBS experience is a considerable advantage
- Ability to lead and nurture a team of 1-3 employees, fostering growth and collaboration
- Experienced in developing and implementing organisational transformation initiatives
- Skilled in senior leadership communication, effectively conveying strategic vision
- Experienced in presenting recommendations, gaining consensus and generating excitement for new ideas
- Exceptional people-focused approach, with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a multinational and cross-functional context
- Up to date with the latest innovations and tech that are reshaping organisational design and efficiency
- Experience in creating engaging presentations
- Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
- Willingness to be part of a new and growing team and the ability to shape the future of the GBS organisation
- Comfortable in a ‘start-up’ environment where processes, responsibilities and structure are still evolving
