How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Manager of International Supply Chain Management you will be planning, executing and monitoring our global supply chain
  • Your responsibilities include leading and developing an international team
  • As part of your day to day activity you continuously optimise the global supply chain as well as implementing and developing processes and procedures
  • Your tasks include close collaboration with international departments and country organisations of the ALDI SOUTH group as well as suppliers and logistics service providers
  • Ensuring a robust global supply chain taking into account quality and CR aspects
  • Onboarding of new and existing suppliers with regards to supply chain related topics

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • As a Manager of International Supply Chain Management, you bring relevant professional experience in supply chain operations and related functional areas (e.g. Freight Forwarding, Warehouse, Replenishment)
  • You possess several years of leadership experience
  • You have completed a university degree, ideally with a focus on supply chain management
  • You are confident using PC tools, especially MS Office, and experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • Your working style is reliable, structured, and result-oriented
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills, combined with a high degree of assertiveness, distinguish you
  • You have business fluent English skills
