How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You will lead and contribute to international, cross-functional process alignments, supporting stakeholders across multiple countries and fostering a collaborative working environment
- You will define best practices for procurement and purchasing processes and evolve existing workflows in line with strategic objectives
- You will design, document, and operationalise global process and system requirements, ensuring clarity, compliance, and usability
- You will proactively identify continuous improvement and automation opportunities across procurement systems and processes
- You will collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear system and process change proposals
- You will develop system requirements for new process initiatives in strong collaboration with the International IT department (ADX)
- You will keep an eye on continuous improvement opportunities within your area of expertise, including identifying automation opportunities
- You will establish a harmonised KPI framework to measure global performance.
- You will demonstrate expertise in organisational change and communication to enhance project success
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support global finance processes
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have completed education (e.g., business administration or project management) or have practical experience in indirect procurement or purchasing organisation
- You have experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba (purchase to pay), which is essential; experience with other Purchasing and Procurement Systems is an advantage
- You bring several years of professional experience in indirect procurement or purchasing, ideally with a focus on process management and optimisation
- You have a flexible mindset, embracing change, collaboration, and iterative decision-making
- You are experienced in presenting recommendations, gaining consensus, and generating excitement for new ideas
- You possess outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multinational and cross-functional context
- You have business-fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
- You are proactive and process-driven with strong organisational and project management skills
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
