How you’ll make your mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You are responsible for analysing financial models to evaluate the success of investment initiatives
- You will create investment steering tools applied internationally to assess long-term profitability impacts
- As part of your role, you will use benchmarking, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to gain deeper insights into the quality of key inputs in investment tools helping the company to make well-informed and sound investment decisions
- You’ll contribute to the development of group-wide concepts for controlling, planning and approval of strategic investment initiatives
- You are responsible for developing structured decision-making frameworks for senior management, presented through verbal discussions, written reports, or PowerPoint presentations
- In addition, you’ll prepare and further develop investment reports & concepts
- Independently reviewing and preparing data for international ad-hoc requests, while working closely with other Group Controlling teams compliments your responsibilities
Your profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have completed a university degree in finance, controlling, accounting or a related field
- You possess several years of experience and interest in areas such as financial modelling and business case creation. Alternatively, you have experience in auditing or similar fields
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential
- You demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- You show a structured and conscientious way of working
- You combine a solution-oriented, collaborative mindset with a structured, and independent working style
- You are open to work in an international team and environment, where alignments and communication are key
- You are proficient in MS Office tools, knowledge of VBA macros and SAP is an advantage
- You are business-fluent in the English language, German is a plus
