How you'll Make your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Support the Quality Assurance department in daily operations and collaborate closely with Non-Food Purchasing to ensure product quality and compliance throughout the sourcing process.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and continuous optimisation of quality assurance processes, with a focus on improving product safety, compliance, and efficiency
- Coordinate and monitor product testing in external laboratories, including documentation, and follow-up on results
- Participate in cross-functional quality assurance projects and conduct research on regulatory requirements, product specifications, and market standards
- Review and evaluate formulations and compositions of Non-Food products, particularly in the areas of cosmetics and hygiene articles, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards
- Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of relevant databases, while also handling general administrative and documentation tasks within the department
- Collaborate closely with international partners and suppliers to ensure alignment on product quality, specifications, and compliance requirements
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- Completed degree in chemistry, toxicology, or a related field, alternatively a comparable vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
- Several years of hands-on experience in product development and/or quality assurance within the cosmetics or personal care industry
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools, with confidence in handling data and documentation
- Fluent English skills are required; German language skills are considered an advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain a structured approach
- Reliable, detail-oriented working style with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
